These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Precosaudi' services and website. By registering for our workshops or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Workshop Registration and Payment

Registration Requirements

• All workshop registrations must be completed online or by phone
• Participants under 18 must have parental consent and supervision requirements may apply
• Medical conditions or disabilities that may affect participation must be disclosed at registration
• Workshop capacity is limited and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis

Payment Terms

• Full payment is required at the time of registration unless otherwise arranged
• We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and e-transfers
• Payment plans may be available for multi-week workshops (contact us for details)
• All prices are in Canadian dollars and include applicable taxes

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Student Cancellations

• 7+ days before workshop start: Full refund minus $25 administrative fee
• 3-6 days before workshop start: 50% refund
• Less than 3 days before workshop start: No refund, but credit towards future workshops may be offered
• Medical emergencies: Refunds considered on a case-by-case basis with documentation

Workshop Cancellations by Precosaudi

• We reserve the right to cancel workshops due to insufficient enrollment or unforeseen circumstances
• Full refunds will be provided for cancelled workshops
• Alternative workshop dates may be offered
• We are not responsible for travel or accommodation costs

3. Workshop Attendance and Conduct

Attendance Requirements

• Punctual attendance is required for safety briefings and optimal learning
• Late arrivals may be denied entry to workshops for safety reasons
• Make-up sessions are not provided for missed classes in multi-week programs
• Workshops may proceed with partial attendance if minimum enrollment is met

Student Conduct

• Respectful behavior towards instructors and fellow students is required
• Follow all safety instructions and studio guidelines
• No use of alcohol or drugs on the premises
• Photography in the studio requires permission from instructors and other participants
• Disruptive behavior may result in removal from the workshop without refund

4. Safety and Liability

Health and Safety

• Participants must disclose any medical conditions that may affect their ability to participate safely
• Pregnant participants should consult their healthcare provider before participating
• All participants must follow studio safety protocols and use provided safety equipment
• Students with respiratory conditions should be aware of clay dust and kiln emissions

Liability Waiver

By participating in our workshops, you acknowledge that:

• Clay modeling involves inherent risks including cuts, burns, and exposure to clay dust
• You participate at your own risk and assume full responsibility for any injuries
• Precosaudi is not liable for personal injuries, property damage, or loss
• You release Precosaudi from all claims arising from your participation

5. Materials and Equipment

Provided Materials

• All basic materials (clay, tools, glazes) are included in workshop fees
• Aprons and basic safety equipment are provided
• Kiln firing of completed pieces is included
• Special materials for advanced workshops may incur additional costs

Personal Items

• Wear appropriate clothing that can get dirty
• Closed-toe shoes are required for safety
• Personal tools may be brought but must be approved by instructors
• Precosaudi is not responsible for lost or damaged personal items

6. Intellectual Property and Photography

Student Work

• Students retain ownership of their ceramic pieces
• Precosaudi may photograph student work for promotional purposes with permission
• Students may be featured in marketing materials unless they opt out
• Workshop techniques and methods remain the intellectual property of Precosaudi

Photography and Video

• Precosaudi may take photos and videos during workshops for promotional use
• Students will be notified when photography is taking place
• Students may opt out of being photographed by notifying instructors
• Personal photography in the studio requires permission

7. Website Terms

Acceptable Use

• Use our website only for lawful purposes related to our services
• Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Do not transmit harmful or malicious content
• Respect the intellectual property rights of Precosaudi and others

Content Accuracy

• We strive to keep website information accurate and up-to-date
• Workshop schedules, pricing, and policies may change without notice
• Always confirm details when registering for workshops
• We are not liable for errors or omissions on our website

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our services, you consent to our privacy practices as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nova Scotia, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Nova Scotia. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

11. Force Majeure

Precosaudi is not liable for any delay or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government regulations, labor disputes, or public health emergencies. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule affected workshops.
